What You Will Do
- Work independently on all aspects of QA.
- Work in FEA Solver Interfaces in HyperMesh, HyperView, HyperGraph and to apply QA practices for commercial release of software.
- Write test cases, test scenarios and automated tests for features in products.
- Create, maintain and report of use cases execution using tools like JIRA, Confluence, XRay.
- Review and maintain current suite of manual and automated tests.
- Automate test cases using scripting and porting existing automated tests to high performance systems.
- Validate product issues discovered by QA, field engineers or customers. Help to examine root cause of problems and incorporate them in testing.
- Serving as an advocate for software quality.
- Collaborates, communicates well across the HW QA team, across Altair QA COE team and other teams (Dev, PM, Support, Doc, Devops).
- Review documents and tutorials for Altair Simulation Products.
What You Will Need:
Basics:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in scripting Language like python or similar.
- Exposure to FEA / CAE simulation using commercial products.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of customer workflows for using simulation software in Automotive, Aerospace or Heavy industry.
