Summary: We are seeking detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for manually testing our software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for various software applications.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Provide clear and detailed feedback on testing results, including steps to reproduce defects and any issues encountered.
- Ensure that software functions as intended and meets the requirements and specifications.
- Participate in requirement and design review meetings to provide insights on testability and quality.
- Execute functional, usability, and performance tests.
- Maintain and update documentation related to testing procedures and results.
Technical Skills
- Software Testing: Manual Testing, API testing, Cross Browser Testing, Mobile Testing.
- Tools: Experience with defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Languages: Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Operating Systems: Experience with testing on various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and mobile platforms.
- Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
