Summary: As a full stack qa engineer, you will be responsible for thoroughly testing our software products to identify defects, validate functionalities, and ensure a seamless user experience. your role will encompass both functional testing (70%) and test automation (30%) efforts. you will work closely with the development team to understand product features and requirements, contributing to the improvement of software quality and reliability.
What will you do
- conduct thorough testing of both frontend and backend components of our applications to identify defects and ensure functionality.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and features in depth.
- develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
- utilize your debugging skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide detailed bug reports.
- contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to developers regarding testability and quality.
- perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
- continuously improve testing processes, strategies, and methodologies.
- stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
