What you’ll do:
- Participate in the complete software development life cycle for new and existing features.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of proven experience as a manual tester.
- Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA.
- Experience with test management systems such as TestRail, Zephyr.
- Understands the fundamentals of HTML tags, attributes and CSS, including DOM structure and styling concepts, to efficiently inspect and identify
- issues in web-based and mobile user interfaces.
- Ability to use browser developer tools (such as Chrome DevTools) to inspect page elements, track CSS styles, identify JavaScript errors, and monitor network activity.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, and good management skills.
- Experience with AGILE methodologies e.g. SCRUM and KANBAN.
