Summary:As a Java Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in creating effective acceptance and integration test automation scripts, integrating with Continuous Integration (CI) tools, and ensuring the quality of our software development process.
Responsibilities:
- Create and integrate acceptance and integration test automation scripts with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins/Bamboo.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to lead multiple test paths simultaneously.
- Contribute to test strategies and frameworks, leveraging your expertise in API and BDD.
- Participate in test planning and estimations, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, usability, compatibility, accessibility, and regression testing.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile team, contributing to the continuous improvement of our software testing process.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in coding Core Java and Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
- Expertise in API and BDD frameworks.
- Experience in building and using automation frameworks with technologies such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, Soap UI, REST, JSON, XML, and Eclipse IDE.
- Proven experience in JBehave or BDD (Cucumber) framework, as well as Functional, Usability, Compatibility, Accessibility, and Regression testing.
- Knowledge of common tools/technologies used in testing, including SQL, XML, JSON, Fiddler, Postman, and HP ALM.
- Understanding of client-server architecture and communication principles, with basic knowledge of SQL and UNIX.
- Experience working in an Agile team.
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level.
