Summary: As a Product QA Developer, Associate you will join Product Engineering team working on an enterprise application. It typically involves ensuring that software applications, systems, and services hosted on cloud platforms perform optimally, securely, and reliably.
What You’ll Do
- Creating a test plans and strategies for the core erp and all companion products hosted on the cloud.
- Working closely with release engineering team for application deployment.
- Executing the manual testcases developed for the feature.
- Execution of existing automation testcases on hosted cloud application.
- Managing end to end testing specifically integration of third-party application.
- Performance testing should be performed on the hosted application to check for any CPU spikes and memory leaks.
- Testing on the customer testing Instance to validate the issue.
- Set up monitoring tools and dashboards to track application performance metrics, resource utilization, and service availability in the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and cloud engineers to address and resolve issues.
- Testing the compatibility and interoperability of APIs used by the application with various client applications and services.
What You Need to Succeed
- B.E/B.Tech/B.S in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) with 0 – 2 years of strong experience in Software QA Engineering.
- Hands on experience in working on cloud [Azure/AWS][Here we look for creating their environment setup to test the application. e.g.. creating VM'S and installing applications].
- He should be having knowledge on Performance testing [to conduct some tests for load and stress].
- He should be good enough to understand CI/CD setup [mainly for application deployment].
- Having very good experience in Manual testing & writing SQL queries, preferably from Product companies.
- Having experience with tools like Jira and Zephyr is essential for effective project management and test case management in software development and testing processes.
- Very good experience in designing Manual test cases.
- Should have knowledge on any of the programming knowledge[.net/Java/python].
- Should have work experience on automation tools like Selenium, WDIO, Robot Framework would be great.
- Any knowledge on Docker/container is advantage.
- Learns and employs knowledge of the business segment targeted by the software application.
- Efficient in effort estimation, planning, prioritization, and time management.
- High attention to detail and should be a very good team player.
- Excellent Communication, Presentation, and Inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart
- Strong technical skills and logic are required.
- Hands-on experience in Automation testing with Selenium along with good Product experience is a plus.
- Strong in Troubleshooting, deployment and debugging skills.
- Experience -on experience on non-functional testing/ Performance testing.
- Working on Windows application will be an added advantage.
