Summary: We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests using various tools, including Postman, k6, and other automation and performance testing tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation testing, and performance testing, as well as experience with Postman, k6, Git, and the PR process.
Responsibilities
- To lead software validation Control Units for EVs and ICEs.
- Manage the testing requirements for multiple Control units across several HMCL vehicle platforms.
- Remove roadblocks and barriers to success for your teams to ensure high quality software and captivating customer experiences.
- Drive continuous improvements in testing approach including automation, increased speed, depth, and breadth of testing coverage.
- Identify new tools and technologies to develop a world class validation team.
- Verification and Validation Debugging, problem solving and Implementation of Corrective measures.
- Preparing and recording Testing Data.
Academic Qualification & Experience
- BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive or equivalent.
- Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Embedded software Development Life Cycle Experiential Knowledge of Scripting, HIL, etc.
- Knowledge about CAN Simulation/dbc files from CAN Matrix, Knowledge in using Vector CAN tools (like CANalyzer, CANoe), ETAS-INCA,etc.
- Understanding of Automotive Standards & Functional Safety. E.g. ISO 26262, MISRA Quality of software Experience of End to End encryption, Sound knowledge of IoT client APIs like HTTP, RESTful APIs etc.
- Experience of working in ASPICE process capability maturity model, good experience in V-model development process.
- Knowledge of communication protocol like CAN, Modbus as well as SPI , LIN , K-LINE Ability to work through RCA Knowledge about Agile and V model.
- Use to work under multi project and with time constrain.
