Responsibilities:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test strategies and cases for testing applications based on customer requirements.
- Review and enhance test strategies and cases, adding value to end-to-end testing plans.
- Collaborate with product management to translate new features into test cases.
- Review, analyse requirements and technical design documents providing timely feedback.
- Support teammates by sharing knowledge and learning from each other.
- Perfom manual or automated e2e testing to identify and report bugs, ensuring high-quality software.
- Convert manual test cases into automated scripts and maintain existing test frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Java for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Familiar with Kotlin and Kafka connectors, consumers, and producers.
- Strong manual testing skills with experience in automated testing of complex systems.
- Skilled in developing test strategies and cases for cross-functional features in complex environments, ensuring appropriate test coverage across the delivery cycle.
- Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman and browser debugging tools.
- Collaborative with developers on testing features and advocating for QA processes.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation into deployment workflows.
- Knowledgeable in BDD and TDD, with the ability to explain their concepts effectively.
- Independent, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and methodologies.
- Able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, advocating for QA best practices.
