Summary: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Software Test Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of testing experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on web-based applications. If you have experience in developing test frameworks, performing various types of testing, and have knowledge of defect reporting, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual testing including smoke, functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Develop highly reusable and efficient test frameworks.
- Conduct web-based application testing to ensure the software meets specified requirements.
- Report and track defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication of issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and results.
- Provide clear and concise communication, both orally and in writing, to stakeholders.
- If applicable, conduct automation testing for mobile applications using tools like Appium.
- Leverage automation testing experience using Playwright and JavaScript.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of total testing experience.
- Basic experience in automation testing.
- Proven experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge in smoke, functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Proficiency in web-based application testing.
- Hands-on experience with defect reporting and management using JIRA.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and documentation.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright and JavaScript.
- Experience with mobile application testing and tools like Appium is a plus.
