Summary: This team comprises skilled SRE engineers whose prime responsibility is to automate, maintain cloud infrastructure provisioning, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting. This team uses plenty of open-source tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc and also maintains its codebase for infrastructure provisioning and other automation. SRE team is also responsible for designing and implementing deployments in Azure, load balancing service, huge amount of Kubernetes clusters and controlling WAF (Akamai). This core central team is responsible for uptime and availability for Myntra’s production infrastructure in the cloud.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain central platform products to improve the security posture of Myntra.
- Write maintainable/scalable/efficient code.
- Design and architect technical solutions for the developer community at Myntra.
- Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with peers during the entire SDLC.
- Follow coding standards, code reviews, etc.
- Follow scrum sprint cycles and commitment to deadlines.
- Identify security gaps in or for software platforms and incorporate them into requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1 years experience in large scale application development.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with distributed systems handling a large amount of data.
- Experience in Python or Golang, ReactJs.
- Hands-on experience on Linux/Unix systems, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Docker.
- Experience in platform centric software development.
- Understanding of security protocols at Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 7.
- Experience in cloud security, preferably on Azure.
- Understanding of Web Technologies, NoSQL and messaging systems.
