Summary: Join the QA organization for FinTech. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. You will be collaborate with DevOps, Developers, BAs, QAs to understand requirements and new features to produce a comprehensive test coverage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- You will work with cross-functional teams across the globe, delivering critical solutions to world-leading Banks and Requlators.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex financial reports to international clients. You will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress within the Quality Ansurance team. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Chennai, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
- Performing test cases and scenarios based on requirements from regulators/banks.
- Performing functional and non-functional testing.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects found during testing.
- Collaborating with other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
- Learning and applying testing techniques and standard methodologies.
- Adhering to project timelines and deliverables.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
- Chipping in to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
We expect you to have
- At least 1-3 years of testing experience with good knowledge of SQL, Excel.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Expertise with software testing methods, types and test design techniques.
- Expertise in design and development of test documentation (test cases, checklists).
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
It would be great if you
- Bank reporting or working experience in banking sector.
- Work experience with Jira.
- Knowledge of HTTP, XML.
