What You'll Do
- As an experienced Quality Engineer of expertise in test case automation using Selenium (Java or Python), Rest Assured, testing frameworks such as TestNG, Junit, Mockito, along with fundamental SQL knowledge, RESTful Web Services, and Microservices Architecture, your responsibilities will include:
- Adhere to Agile test procedures.
- Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines.
- Develop test cases and test scenarios.
- Manually validate assigned user stories.
- Design and develop test automation scripts.
- Perform test automation.
- Ensure full traceability between test scripts, results, and client requirements.
- Collaborate within the team to understand the requirements.
- Collaborate with other testing teams for integration and system testing.
- Report bugs/errors discovered using standardized tools and processes.
- Upskill to match the latest industry standards.
What You Know
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium and Rest Assured.
- Working experience using any automation frameworks like Cucumber, BDD, etc.
- Good knowledge and experience in Web Services and API testing using the Rest Assured framework.
- Solid working experience on Testing modules and reporting bugs.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools - Jenkins and Maven build tools.
- Proficient knowledge of Gatling & JMeter.
- Skillful in writing manual test cases.
- Sound knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Familiarity with Test plan, Test strategy, defect life cycle, etc.
- Good in writing SQL queries and RDBMS concepts.
- Knowledge of code repo using GIT or SVN or any distributed version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- People-oriented with effective interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn new concepts and apply acquired skills.
- Adaptability to tackle new challenges.

- Good communication skills.

- Mobile automation experience (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge in JMeter.

- Knowledge in any of cloud services.
- Knowledge of production log analysis like Splunk.
Education
A 4-year bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related functional field) or an equivalent combination of education or higher qualifications.
