Numerator seeks a Fresher candidate for Associate Engineer - QA role for its Engineering team. The position will develop, document, and execute test cases & automation scripts for products. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuously changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multitask, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged QA role. The role will involve interacting with stakeholders in the QA,Product and developers teams.

What You'll Bring
  • Candidates will be working on existing and new initiatives within the QA team. The team incorporates agile methodologies including Scrum, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in its development processes.
  • Knowledge of Core Java, Python.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Software testing concepts.
  • Basic RDBMS concepts and data querying skills. (Added advantage).
  • The Candidate needs to be able to work with Automation tasks as well as Manual QA tasks.
  • Designing test scenarios and test cases manually.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and should be able to apply them in test automation script development.
  • Troubleshooting issues, debugging test cases, and fixing errors.
  • Executing/running tests, analyzing test results and test reporting.
  • Defect reporting and tracking using any defect management tool.
  • Good communication (written & verbal).
  • Ability to work as a team player and independent contributor.
Exceptional Candidates will have
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, GIT, CI/CD pipelines & exposure to Jenkins or CircleCI would be an added advantage.
  • Selenium, BDD, Security testing, Performance testing with JMeter.
