Summary:You will be the Quality Gatekeeper of all the projects and products for PriceLabs. You will be working in a fast-paced start-up. Surrounded by talented people from different backgrounds, you will be challenged constantly. You will work closely with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI testing using Cypress.io and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute and Analyze Tests: Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed steps to reproduce.
- Enhance Automation Framework: Continuously enhance and optimize the automation framework to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Integrate with CI/CD Pipeline: Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the QA & Dev team to resolve them.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UI automation testing and apply them to improve our testing processes.
About you:
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in software automation testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript. Should be well-versed in using Cypress for end-to-end testing of web applications. Hands-on experience with API testing and automation tools such as Postman and Rest-assured.
- SQL Knowledge: Ability to create SQL queries to validate business rules and ensure data coverage. Communication: Strong communication skills with a positive work attitude.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Tools Experience: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and automated testing using Cypress.io. Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, ClickUp, BrowserStack, TestRails, and React.js.
