Summary: As a Junior Data Scientist at Ramco Systems, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to derive actionable insights and contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about data science, have a solid understanding of statistics, and possess hands-on experience with tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other Python-based machine learning frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science problems.
- Utilize your expertise in statistics, exploratory data analysis, and machine learning to extract meaningful insights from diverse datasets.
- Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other Python frameworks.
- Develop and maintain machine learning/deep learning models to achieve the desire business outcomes – such as personalized recommendations, Anomaly detection or intelligent search.
- Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess and clean datasets for model training.
- Contribute to the development of data pipelines and workflows to streamline the data science process.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science and machine learning technologies.
- Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Actively participate in team discussions, share knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Skill Sets Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning model development.
- Proficient in using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other Python-based machine learning frameworks.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience with exploratory data analysis techniques.
- Solid programming skills in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques and the ability to clean and transform data for model training.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to Transformers model applied to real world problem.
