What you will be doing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Java or Python.
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance and improve automated testing processes and frameworks for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
What we are looking for from you
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in writing automation test cases using Java or Python.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or pytest.
- Understanding of CI/CD integration with automation scripts.
- Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Good knowledge of SQL and the ability to write basic database queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management and issue tracking tool experience: Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, Postman, MS Office package.
- ISTQB Foundation qualification.
